 AMP IT UP

Get ready to move, groove, and power up! Amp It Up is all about boosting your stamina and endurance through upbeat, high-energy workouts that keep you dancing strong from start to finish.

ARCHES
Learn exercises to strengthen the foot muscles and tendons, to acquire a perfect arch for soft shoe.

BALLET BARRE

Blend ballet and Irish dance! Using barre-inspired drills, dancers will improve turnout, crossing, extension, and overall poise to enhance their technique.

CAMP CRAFTS

No summer camp is complete without crafts! Campers will make fun projects like tie-dye, friendship bracelets, and more, guided by our talented staff while jamming to a class-made playlist.

CAMP GAMES

Summer camp games are all about fun, teamwork, and making friends! From classic outdoor games like capture the flag to creative challenges, campers will enjoy plenty of active, outdoor fun.

CEILI
A fun class for all levels! Camp staff instruct some of the 30 Ceilis that are in the official, “Ar Rince Ceili Book” designed by CLRG. This class is perfect if you just want to learn or plan to sit for your TCRG!

DANCERS DIET & NUTRITION
Learn how to fuel your body like a pro! Our dietician will share tips on the best foods for energy, performance, and hydration to keep dancers at their best.

DRILLS
For the dancer who can’t get enough! In this class, Instructors provide repetitive movements to work on agility, endurance and stamina.

EMPHASIS ON THE BACKFOOT

The backfoot can be tricky, but this class makes it stick! Through drills and exercises, instructors help dancers hit every beat with precision and confidence.

FANCY FOOTWORK
Got moves? Here we choose a couple of trendy movements and break them down for the hour. This class is divided into different levels.

FIX THOSE CLICKS
Instructors will use techniques and exercises to get those clicks just right so that they are heard every time.

GRADE EXAM REVIEW
This year we will not be offering Grade Exam Prep during regular class time. If you are interested in having a class to prepare you for your Grades, we recommend signing up for this.

IMPORTANCE OF RECOVERY

Recovery is key! This class teaches techniques to reduce soreness, promote healing, and keep your body performing at its best after intense dancing.

INSTRUCTOR’S CHOICE

A unique experience for our campers, where the instructor selects a variety of activities, exercises, or themes for the class. This flexible format allows for creativity and spontaneity, keeping the class dynamic and engaging!

IRISH LANGUAGE
An introductory class for those interested in learning Ireland’s National language. Learn how to count, say hello, goodbye, ask questions, etc!

IRISH SPORTS
Expand your Irish Culture and learn the popular sports of Ireland such as Gaelic Football or Hurling.

LIFT IN LIFTS
Having problems getting the height or execution you need for your lifts?

MAKE IT SNAPPY!
Is your dancing lacking energy? Great pull-ups, sharpness and long extensions are what makes a beautiful and strong dancer.

MIND THE GAP

Perfect class for dancers who have trouble over crossing and/or keeping knees tight while trebling.

MINDSET OF A DANCER

Boost your confidence and master your mindset in this class designed to help dancers tackle stage nerves and mental challenges with ease.

OWN THE STAGE

Own every moment you’re on the floor! Campers will work on confidence, energy, and stage presence, learning how to dance with power, personality, and flair. By the end of class, you’ll be ready to command the stage like a pro.

POSTURE & ARMS
Having problems with your carriage? Instructors will devote the whole hour giving tips and exercises that can help you to straighten your back and keep those arms tucked in!

PRACTICE 101

Dancers will leave this class with tips on how to build a proper well rounded practice schedule to help get them to the next level or reach their next goal.

RHYTHM & TIMING
Do you listen to Irish dance music outside of practice time? Well, you should. Learn more tips and rhythmic combinations to help with timing.

SHOWS BEHIND THE SCENES
Ever wanted to know what it’s like to be in a World Touring Dance Show? Hear stories and backstage gossip straight from the Professionals.

SHOW STEPS
Ever wanted to learn ‘Reel around the Sun’, ‘Distant Thunder’ or the opening of LOTD? This class does just that. Taught by our Dance Instructors, you will be able to perform the show’s steps TO MUSIC!! This class is broken down by level.

STAGE PRESENCE
From walking on to taking your final bow, learn how to own the stage with confidence, charm, and perfect etiquette.

STRENGTHENING & FLEXIBILITY
By using leg weights and thera-bands, our Yoga Instructor will use strengthening exercises and drills to work the body to encourage strength and flexibility and reduce injuries.

TAKE CARE OF THOSE FEET!
Learn from our in-house nurse how to prevent and treat blisters, injuries, and other common dance foot ailments. Get hands-on tips for wrapping, remedies, and enjoy a relaxing foot soak during class!

TOE WORK
Want stronger, steadier toe walks? This class combines stretches, foot exercises, and core strengthening to support your back and abs, helping you stay balanced and confident on your toes in hard shoes.

TIME FOR TURNOUT
By using exercises, techniques and dance props, we will help enhance your turnout!

TRADITIONAL SETS
An instructional class, for all levels, who wish to learn the four traditional Set Pieces. For those planning to take levels 4-12 of Grade Examinations, this class will be a quick review to prepare.

TREBLE REEL
A fun Thursday class! Staff members work together with campers to choreograph fun (and sometimes silly) treble reel steps.

TROUBLE WITH TREBLES
Not getting the right sound out of your trebles? We will break down the rhythm and give the dancer a better understanding of the different treble sounds in ID.
